I've made some tweaks to the Bot priest.

    Item Suggestion Notes
    If possible:
    Item Substitution Suggestions:

    Strategy:

    • Keep your opponent busy and distracted with the warrior and, when you're ready, lunge in with your vampire priest to drain your opponent dry, ideally landing multiple attacks in a single turn (thanks to the Cantrip effect of Talented Healer .
    • Your warrior IS going to be doing some major damage, but play defensively. Try to strike when you can get in and out in the same round and/or have backup and/or have an Impenetrable Nimbus ready.
    • If you can, wait until your Vampire has taken a hit before you start sucking your opp dry.
    • If a target has Dodge, pick a different target for your vamp unless the toon is cornered.

    Edited
    • Added Item Substitution Suggestions (Thanks go out to Doog37 for pointing out that such would be a good thing!)
    • Added Token icons and "(Tokenless)" notation for the items to aid in build planning. (Thanks go out to the Devs for including the token icons for us here at the forums!)
    • Added note that Amfindir has 1 (minortoken) left over.

And that is why his name is actually Earmuff. :)

By the way, I've been running a warrior in place of my gimmick wizard recently. I'll post the deck lists later, but it feels better on these maps.

This seems like an interesting combination. How is this build working, Rook? I' ve also made a Vampire build (that I intend to try sometime in a casual game), but fusioned with my Firestorm build. Since I've been blessed recently with a Bynzer's Black Spear, I put that instead of the Vampire's Blade, and as I don't have (there aren't?) a good tokenless elf racial, I switched for a human priest that uses Novice Command.
Also, one thing: Are Black Iron Boots better than Sticky Slippers? I know that Quick Run is a great card, but Sticky Slippers gives you two Inmovable, which is essential in the current meta, and also helps with the trait cycling.

Quick Run is amazing. When your vampire can't take another hit, it lets you sidle up and suck an opponent dry without giving them a chance to hit.

Yeah, quick run is an absolute bomb. Hardy mail is randomly relevant, especially against firestorm. And wild run is a dead card on a vampire more often than on most characters because you are always storing up drains. My two cents on the boots debate :)

Well, I guess you are right, after all you are the one that have been playing a Vampire build for long

Hey, my word isn't final, this is all IMO.

You can offset the Sticky Slippers by using Superb Footwork instead of Escapist, and it does free up another gold token for, say, a second Lifesuck Spear instead of Vampire's Blade. It's a little more of a defensive build than Flax's (extra Immovable, extra range-2 attack, no bad-luck Loners, but fewer drains), but the quick run alone does a lot to offset the loss of Slippery, and you pick up a couple small step attacks in the process. Just have to be careful with the wild run.

Quite a bit less consistent, but possibly viable. I think slippery is one of the best cards in the game (it is 4 cards for the price of one)... I dunno, report back on your success. :)

Because he has a spare token?

Also, did you ever post the list?

Yes, the spare token is the earmuff.
No I didn't post the lists, I haven't played in the last couple days due to work / game dev.
