And I really wish there was a way for me to look and see what items you have, but just looking at things, I've got a few suggestions:

    For your Wizard:
    • Your wizard seems all over the place, trying to do everything at once. a bit of cold, a bit of walls, etc. a jack of all trades, but master of none. Pick something for him to be good at and rock that ****.
    • Also, your wizard's an elf. Personal preference here, but they're REALLY fragile. I'd suggest going dwarf or human.
      • Suggestions: Short Perplexing Ray is good, but difficult to get in quantities of more than 1/item if you have an item with 2 or even 3 SPRs on it, use that. Axander's Twisted Circlet, Arcade's Amber Amulet, Bewlin's Baffling Bauble and Farzil's Perplexing Horn are probably the best. If you have one of these items, pick ONE and use that.
      • Try using Blood Locket (if you like really like Path of Knives), Runestones (If you want to burn the world) , or a combo of the two. Either one will make your deck smaller through trait cycling (which can also help push off attached debuff cards) and give you damage and control.
        • Path of Knives has the potential for more damage, but is less reliable than Wall of Fire and has a chance to bite you in the ass (for instance, when an enemy has Martyr's Blessing on).
        • Wall of Fire is more reliable, and lasts longer (Dur 3, instead of 2), does more damage in the short run, also lets you punish your enemy for standing on a VP, if you 'poison the well' so to speak. Remember to look for Traits like Hover, Dimensional Traveller (which will let them stand on the Vp, get the point and then hop off before your lava does damage to them. good fix for that: encumber them), Slippery, which will do the same thing, but ignores encumbrance, and Hover. Don't bother laying down a firewall for them, they don't appreciate your desire to burn the mother down.
          • Which is better? That depends on your play style and personal choice, but keep an open mind if/when others weigh in on it.
      • Suggest ditching Counterblast in favor of a Trembling Staff (trait cycling, ftw), Trembling also has no token req.
      • Sticky Slippers, if you have them, are REALLY nice for avoiding getting thrown around by your enemy.
My time's short atm, but I'll add more later.

First of all, to gain in consistency (meaning that it is more probable to draw what you need) you need to have much more traits, which compress your deck and get instantly replaced by another card. Trait cycling is one of the most overpowered things in the game. Most of them should be good, but some of the "negative" ones are also welcomed, if they don't completely cripple you. An easy example would be this: Runestone is much better than Wound Of Seared Air. Why? Because the first one has two very good cards and a trait that is not so negative, gets replaced and helps you to compress your deck, while the second one has the two same good cards and an ok card. And also it uses a major token. So, your goal should be to avoid having too many of those ok cards, and adding traits instead, so that a bad draw is much less likely. That is why Trembling Staff is so good. To give you an idea, I currently have 7 traits in my two warriors and 8 traits (that could be more) with my wizard. Oh, and as Arcadian said, avoid using an elf wizard. They die very easily, no movement advantage can compensate for how fragile they are. For your wizard/s you should search for cards like Winds Of War, Wall Of Fire, Short Perplexing Ray, etc.

There is one general rule: Rarer items are not always better than common ones. Runestone is an example, and Bejewelled Sword is another one. I have 13 legendaries item, and I only use 1 or 2 in my builds. I tell you this because I see that your warrior has 2 rare weapons and one epic, when could not be the best. A Bejewelled Sword is an excellent weapon, I would put at least one of those in your deck. And another thing is that those three weapons you have, have zero movility. Just one of the 18 cards has a 2 step attack (Vicious Thrust). At least one of the three weapons should have a lot of movement. Search for items like Puncturing Dagger, Rageblood Dagger, Excellent Rapier, Dagger, etc. Those might not seem too good at first sight, but you need a lot of movement cards to be competitive. What is the point of having an Obliterating Bludgeon if you can't reach your enemy? Weapons that combine great attack power with small step attacks are also good, like Surging Battleaxe or Warrior's Mace. Also, I don't like bashes for warriors because they move your enemy away when you need them to be close to you to inflict the damage, but that is personal preference. You could have bashes if you had more movility cards. Team moves are also great for this purpose, you should add some of those too, if you can.

Possessed Shoes are a common tokenless item and is much better than Jumpdragger Boots. If you can afford a blue token, Slippery Shoes are even better (because of the trait thing I said before, and because Inmovable is a great trait).

Finally, in the current meta having a priest doesn't make much sense unless you are full of Impenetrable Nimbus or Frenzy. But Frenzy only makes sense if you run a 2 warrior and 1 priest team. So, you are left with Impenetrable nimbus. Try to add more of those. Instead of the Lifesuck Spear you could use a Duality Mace. And try tu put more Divine items that include Nimbus, like Shielding Token. You also could try removing the priest and adding a second warrior or a second wizard and see if you do better with that. I don't recommend priests, but that is just my opinion.

    Hope this can help you!

  8. One general tip I'd offer is to make sure your races have synergy together, and it makes sense using the race for the class you have. Generally, elven wizards are terrible because they are frail. Dwarves/humans are the best races overall for every class except for warrior, in which case elves can be competitive in certain builds.

Great tips guys, I'll look into this. Yeah, I wish there was some way of letting you know what I've got! (which is probably not alot, have saved at least one copy of every item i've found, and bought some epic ones in the stores, but havent spent any real money on this game. yet.)

Or if you run a Vampiric Build like Flaxative and I, then 1 hume priest, 1 elf priest, 1 dwarf wiz is delightful.

    Hi,
Maybe it's obvious, but I haven't really seen anyone else say it. If you don't have good priest cards, don't play a priest! (or whatever other combination). War-War-Wiz can be pretty strong, etc. Again, maybe obvious, but any of the cards mentioned above that are common or uncommon are cheap and often available in the shops. Check those every day for things that can be upgrades for you at this point. Also, I feel compelled to point out that, although they're probably suboptimal, I've played up to around 1450 running an elf wizard. So there.

I know, the first time I reached 1400 I was using not one, but two! elves wizards, lol. The problem is at the higher rank, they can't compete there, and that's why you rarely see them above 1500.

    Yeah,
When nimble strike and hard to pin are uncommon, you can keep them out of trouble pretty easily. But, hard to pin can really ruin your day.
