I just finished "Return to Woodhome", the 2nd level. My party got all advanced to Level 10 and I was re-assigning items in the Loot screen because of the new blue power pearl. As I finished and hit "Take all" I got an error message: Party not upproved. All three characteres 3rd LEVEL again and I suddenly was in the "Tunnel of Darkness" again. I still have all my latest items but my character level are all gone? ANY IDEA WHAT TO DO? A chance of getting my XP back somehow? (I am also a club member: Account is ANCIENT)
I have no idea how you ended up in the Tunnels, but once you leave you should be back to level 10. Playing low-level dungeons causes all your chars to be temporarily de-leveled to dungeon_level + 2.
Your actual/existing XP or level is not affected: the game merely reduces your party/characters' levels temporarily (the way your characters are set to max lvl in multiplayer) when they enter adventures which are at much lower-levels, so that there would still be some kind of a challenge-- cos even though your high-lvl characters cannot gain xp/lvls in this way, you can still grind/play such adventures for loot/drops... Without the temporary/commensurate lvl reductions, everyone would be using high-lvl characters to grind low-lvl adventures for quick/easy loot.
Oh my god...thanks. I've actually never returned back to anywhere I've been before and I have no idea how I ended up in the tunnels. Thanks, all is "up and running" again Nothing lost. Perhaps a small hint somewhere, that the XP are being "capped" would be helpful, I just did not dare to leave the tunnels in fear of making things worse. Thanks a lot and I wish the team a great start into 2014!
This already exists. When you enter a lower-level adventure, on the "Venture Forth" page your character levels are highlighted in red and below it says in red text e.g: "All of your party are above the level range for this adventure and won't get any experience. Their levels will be temporarily reduced to 3." Hope this helps.
