I am hoping to find some help regarding constant disconnects from the server. I have went over everything here: http://forums.cardhunter.com/threads/cant-connect-to-game.1938/ . I have a 30 meg connection, a fairly new machine and nornally use Chrome but have tried IE and FF. I have reset modems, rebooted computers and even played other games to see how my connection is, everything seems fine other than here. I do experience lag during the game and have not been able to get pass White Skull Canyon. I have spent hours trying to no avail. I have included the basic screen shot. Can anyone shed some light on what to do here?

Thank you in advance for any help! :)

Is it possible to get a Flash log when that happens? I may be grasping at straws here as I'm not the most technical of the bunch.

Thank you for the response, Once I am home I will see about generating a log for you.

I took a quick look at our logs and it sure looks as though there's some issue with your connection to the server. It looks like in general you're getting disconnected for no obvious reason in a matter of only a few minutes.

Do you know if there's any sort of firewall or proxy on your network that might prevent long-duration TCP sessions?

Failing that, you might try to explicitly *block* access to port 9933, which should force the game to use the http-based connection interface instead of a persistent TCP session. I wouldn't normally recommend that, but in this case it might help.

Interesting.... i shall try that. as far as firewalls are concerned i do have the standard MS one, and the one with my net gear router but web addresses and ports have been opened. I may not sure about long duration TCP sessions, i will check the router panel for that just in case. I have finally gotten a flash log to generate, lol it took me forever to figure out something so simple but i got it. It is attached. Perhaps it shall help. tyvm for helping guys. I'll let you know about the port block.

    Thanks again :)

Ok, I have tried blocking port 9933 but really no change still seeing some lag and disconnections. I was perusing a log from today and was wondering about the following part.....

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have noticed in the flash player logs this timeout occurs quite often while its looking for a policy. At the very beginning of the log it states : ""Warning: Ignoring 'secure' attribute in policy file from http://fpdownload.adobe.com/pub/swz/crossdomain.xml. The 'secure' attribute is only permitted in HTTPS and socket policy files. See http://www.adobe.com/go/strict_policy_files for details."""

Not sure if this is anything or not.... :/

That warning shouldn't be an issue. Flash by default attempts to load a policy file from port 843 first, and then falls back to the port where it's trying to connect.

The problem is really whatever is happening prior to "Retrying connection" - since at that point your connection has already been dropped by whatever is causing the session to disconnect.

Looking at your log, there's nothing unusual happening there prior to the disconnect. We can see activity right up to the end when suddenly the connection is no longer valid.

I was on the phone today with my isp and we have looked my connection all over, did find something unusual, I am definitely getting 30+ down but my upload which is supposed to be 10+ meg is only getting too like 1.12 on avg... very strange. so they are sending a tech out Monday. that said, I have blocked port 9933 through windows firewall as well and right now with no router, im doing ok... so I really think its a net work problem maybe, though that blocking of 9933 is doing the trick. thanks for the feedback! I shall continue to share. :)
