Three CM adventure module covers have been sneaked into the live server: http://live.cardhunter.com/assets/module_cover/Mitternacht1.jpg http://live.cardhunter.com/assets/module_cover/Mitternacht2.jpg http://live.cardhunter.com/assets/module_cover/Mitternacht3.jpg
This is a completely wild guess caused by gulo gulo: What if the CM modules are open to the public on the 30th of April? Although that date is very far away and all the modules could be done by then.
I seriously hope they wouldn't delay CM's release just so it would coincide with some ancient local holiday nobody has ever heard about.
Almost 2 months since the previous Twitter updates, and what we got is almost the last thing I was expecting.
I'm not sure where you got the idea from some items are exclusive to treasure hunts, it's not true. Every treasure hunt item can regularly drop from chests, they're just also a guaranteed drop from that adventure.
Following a post by Tolkien I checked the Steam assets for anything new and came across a lot of variations on existing mobs, including two new variants of the werewolf, a new crossbowman variant, a new female guard variant (Have the already existing ones been used for anything yet? I guess they'll be inquisitors.), a dark red new version of the Wisp called Shade and most excitingly a new Guest variant. I'm calling now that the final boss is Spiritual Werepire Tony from Sales. He's upgraded his Scream into a Wail!
Speculation: The werewolves Maniafig found are actually werebears, were-polar bears in fact, who have come down with a case of the "algaes" due to their prolonged stay in a tropical zoo. The adventurers quest will be to free these once beautiful creatures form the confines of their harmful zoo enclosures and release them into the wilds of cardhuntria to the cheers of all....that don't live nearby.
I've been thinking lately, so I've decided that the "Shade" will probably have some unholy cards thrown in there instead of sparks.
OOH.... What if... CRAZY... The shades are somehow related to the Attack of the Astral Guardians for Mauve's Manticore? Like, they can possess things? Are they servants of someone or something?
That would be cool. It seems that they are something akin to an "evil" spirit, if there ever was that.
