I created a build around Instant Burn just to see how it would work out, and like 90% of the time when I cast Instant Burn it triggers exactly 0 of the 2, 3, 4, 5, or more burning DoTs I have spread out all over the enemy characters. The other 10% of the time, though, it activates every single one of them. I have no clue why it usually does nothing (aside from the base 2 damage) but sometimes works as expected. I asked about it in world chat and a few experienced players said the card is not bugged, so clearly I am misunderstanding something. Can anyone help me out?
The character casting instant burn, only affect the cards he himself has attached to enemy characters
Are you using one or two mages, it only activate the ones wich was casted by the one hwo cast instant burn.

From FAQ: "Instant Burn triggers only cards owned by the caster of Instant Burn, it will not trigger cards from another ally’s deck. Instant Burn will neither trigger itself when cast, nor another copy of Instant Burn on the target character, but it will trigger copies of Instant Burn on characters other than the target character. When aburning card is triggered by Instant Burn it does not reduce that card’s round duration."
