That was super cute and fun. Not super difficult, but maybe that's okay. I guess you could try setting the enemy score target to 1, but nobody really wants the wyverns to lose do they? I don't think I'd ever properly appreciated how adorable the baby wyverns are. This certainly highlighted that.
Yeah it can depend on the draw, the Sharkbear's Toughness can really be poorly timed, but it is more a "fun" map over a challenging one.
Nice looking map. The shadows on the stairs are a great touch giving the feeling that the map takes place on the 2nd floor in a home. Using some water-boarder doodads in the closet was a neat thing to see.
Thanks! The second floor look was exactly what I was going for and the closets were by far the hardest to figure out what to use so they looked right! They're layered shadows. If you've done map building, they're the first page under "Decal Doodads," just stack them on top of each other if you want more shadow. I did a somewhat similar thing a while back on the last map in this post.
Great Map! I think that if you added Player 1 Victory Squares on the Stairs it would give the idea that the babies are running to their parents for help or something, other than that, great map and GJ.
Finally played this. It was fun. It's got more going for it in the cute map/cute scenario department than in actual gameplay right now, I fear. I killed the chupa real fast, then had to slowly walk my baby wyverns from one room to the other to fight the sharkbear. That was kind of sloggy. Not too challenging but that's fine.
Good call on the slow walk from room to room. It bothered me too but until you said something I hadn't thought about it directly. I retooled the map to see if we could remove the unnecessary distance: That should shorten the distance and maybe remove some congestion moving from room to room. Any further thoughts?
I liked the map, although not terribly difficult. I guess you shouldn't be allowed to loose babies...
I agree with everybody else, this map is super cute and fun. Not losing a baby would probably be a good requirement if you wanted to make it a little more challenging, and would make sense.
