Black Screen And No Loading?

    I'm having trouble loading Card Hunter for some reason. I get a black screen and the game fails to load. The test client works fine (test.cardhunter.com), but the main client (game.cardhunter.com and live.cardhunter.com) doesn't seem to work at all.

    It says "checking server status" and then just goes black. I've tried multiple browsers too (Chrome and Firefox) with no luck. For Firefox I still see the default background image that is there before the Flash loads, but for Chrome it is just completely black.

    Any ideas?

    UPDATE: Looks like the server is down or something since other people are reporting the same problems.

    UPDATE 2: Fixed! =)

    I closed the browser ten minutes ago after league matches, just tried again and it is still working fine :/

    Chimirduri told me on the test server that it is down for him too. No clue on the problem then if only some people are experiencing it.

    What browser are you using?

    Last version of FF.

    edit: French IP here, in case it's something "local" like only Europeans can play or else.

    What OS? I'm using Windows 8.1 64-bit.

    Weird. No clue then. I tried it on 3 different browsers and I know at least one other person has reported similar problems. Not sure why the test server would work fine but not the main game, even after I've restarted my computer and tried many other things.

    I'm also experiencing this. I tried clearing the cache too, but it didn't help.

    Yeah, I just cleared my cache as well and no luck.

    Even disabled AVG, Windows Firewall, and a few other things and haven't had any success.

    I sent a message to Jon on Twitter and though the Forums, but I think he might be on vacation (Farbs mentioned he was going on vacation soon). Let's hope this gets fixed soon though! It is late night in Australia and soon to be Saturday so who knows when Jon will get to it though.

    EDIT: Just saw him view this thread, so he is aware of it. =)

    Everything looks OK from what I can see. Do you see any errors in your browser console?

    Gives me a 403 Forbidden for:
    CardHunterWebApp.swf/2.24.1/release

    Not sure why it is saying the *.swf is FORBIDDEN all of a sudden...

    It's trying to load the wrong version for you. I will try to fix.

    Looks like Jon fixed it. Restart your browser if it isn't working right away (I had to restart mine and then it worked).

    Great. If you see this problem, a browser cache clear should fix you now.
