    Sorry if I'm being dense but why don't you just add a column or columns to your spreadsheet where you perform the subtraction yourself? That seems the path of least resistance. If it bothers you visually just change the text colour to white or the column width to zero :).

    Better late than never :)
    That was actually easy, yes. I didn't even know before what $ symbol means in Excel (like $G$46), am smarter now lol.

    Anyway I've attached version 2 of Adventures.ods.
    (items = drops - treasures)

    Changes:
    1) Fixed a typo that caused lvl 8 adventures' score to be calculated incorrectly.
    2) Changed the formula so that it now also considers the number of available (epic and legendary) items from every level.
    3) Added more drop data from many levels.

    Alright: who has unlocked the lvl 18 adventures, you could post some drop data of the non-final battles :)

    Working on it. No ETA promised.

    Even 10x3 drops would give an estimate already :)
    But also: after the expansion, all item lvl/adventure level drop ratios might have changed...

    I've 51 drops recorded so far. About 60% level 18 items, but those can be several percentage points off in sample sizes this small. Got two Legendaries and zero Epics, vagaries of randomness.

    Mauve Manticore adjusts to your Renown or something but has it been equivalent to level 18 exactly, we don't know. Getting pure level 18 drop data is valuable new knowledge.

    I have been using Salt Shaker (with Mail Of Succor for the priest) for grinding the battle. It doesn't always win, a bad starting draw can lead to a defeat.

    @Jarmo, Do you just the non-final battles from the new three 18 level dungeons? Specific names of items drops, or just the level and rarity?

    @Lord Feleran
    Is there anything that suggests they have done this? I haven't had that much luck farming lately but I just assumed it was the law of large numbers.

    Yup only 2 items chests.
    No need for names but the distinction between treasures and equips is made. Otherwise ya, just level and rarity. You can check his table three posts above.

    "Is there anything that suggests they have done this?"

    Well, they have added more items. Even if the dropping algorithm is the same, the amounts and %s of items in each level is now a little different. So the chances of getting level x drop from lvl y adventure should have also changed a little.

    Edit: If anyone wishes to help log the drops from different adventures, using these tools is the easiest way:

    1. this: http://neoncat.x10.mx/util/collection-export.php
    then this: http://neoncat.x10.mx/util/equipment-xref.php
    and last step: copy the last output here (before and after farming): http://forums.cardhunter.com/thread...ethod-to-get-most-gold-pieces-gp.4246/page-10, look for Jarmo's Excel workbook.

    I just calculated something I hadn't calculated before:
    average non-treasure drop is worth 1.67 gold;
    average treasure drop is worth 8.3 gold;
    If in Kobold mines treasure drop rate is ~43% then average drop is worth ~4.52 gold there. 3 drops per adventure makes ~13.56 gold per adventure.
    I can complete 1st map in Kobold mines 120 times per hour, that's 120*13.56=1627.2

    1600 gold per hour for unlimited time, not bad.

    Edit: Ah, it's not this easy. Average treasure drop is worth less in mines because epic and legendary treasures doesn't seem to appear in that special drop table.

    Wow. On my old machine I can't load the map 120 times per hour. Maybe 70 or 80, tops. It slows to about 50 when I actually play some Firestorms and get mostly 1 round battles.

    Yeah, how? :confused: I can beat the map in <30 seconds of clicking, but loading the map and clicking on the buttons to reload takes ~30 seconds by itself.

    Animation speed 1000 and fast clicking through everything. Haven't timed a full hour session yet but the estimate is good enough. 20 completions took me 602 seconds.
    Also, you need to sell the excess items later...... which can take time.

    Edit: and since you probably won't sell all the items you got, it's even less gold per minute.

    Edit2: I don't always farm Kobold mines. But when I do: (btw uncommon treasures give the most gold when farming)

    Okay, I did my own experiment: 20 minutes of speed farming the first two levels of the mine maps. (This minimizes the time spent getting the adventure to reload, at the cost of occasionally hitting armor on the pigs.)

    Maps completed: 32
    Avg time per map: ~40 seconds (includes loading, switching, etc.)

    All Items
    Drops: 75c 15u 4r 2e
    GP: 457
    GP/hour: ~1370

    Treasure
    Drops: 38c 3u 2r 1e
    GP: 386
    GP/hour: ~1160
    Do note that I dropped a single epic treasure, which may have skewed my results somewhat. I also dropped a second Risky Trickery, so the experiment has more than paid for itself already. ^_^
