I'm going to open with an apology, because at this point in life I've learned that even when I think I'm being nice and helpful with a little humor thrown in, many (not all) people perceive me as an aggressive jerk. This is not my intent, but I don't seem to be able to help it, so I'm trying this new tactic of explaining up front that I have some personality issues, and I'm honestly not trying to be mean or anything. It's possible I have undiagnosed aspergers or something. Anyway... I think you guys went too far in amping up the difficulty with the Attack of the Artifacts campaigns. I've completely lost my momentum for completing all the challenge quests in the game, where I was previously happily plodding through them, and probably would have put more money into it in the near future. The new campaigns are very difficult as a regular adventure, but I know there's no way in all the fires of Melvin's armpit that I will ever be able to beat that damn dragon with no party deaths, let alone one hit point. The first lesson of being a good cook is that there are settings between off and nuke. I would welcome that level of challenge as an option, but now that I can clearly see I will never complete all the challenges, I've given up about halfway through. Of course turning it down now would probably feel like letting me win, so I guess the damage is done. Which also means this wasn't helpful at all, now that I think about it. Oh well. I'm quite sure there will be those who say I'm just a wimp or not good at the game. I'm ok with that, so sling away. Oh, one other thing. The Gary/Karen romance was a very compelling reason to play through the early campaigns. You should pick that up again in the future.
You're in good company. I've completed pretty much every other quest (aside from a couple of racials for which I need to level up an appropriate team). I'm not going to try quests for the level 18 adventures. I do know that other players have completed at least a couple of the quests, but it's agonizing for me to even think about going back to those adventures now that they're done.
http://forums.cardhunter.com/threads/the-troll-tyrant.5868/#post-61593 I can make a guide for it if this can prevent you from quiting or else. As for the no death, you can make it for cheap with the Toy Story build I think if you're patient. I'll try during the day we'll see.
Tested and confirmed. Sorry I have allready said too much. Can't talk about it yet or I will be disqualified from Flax's builds contest.
I did some time ago the no death challenge: http://forums.cardhunter.com/threads/guild-sorcererers.5126/page-18#post-59296 its hard but fair. now the 1hp challenge i have no clue how to even start build for it
Hmm, the dragon didn't seem too bad at all to me. Its magic attacks are low damage and encumber doesn't matter since it comes next to you anyway so you can melee him all the time. Pretty much like beating Cardotron's warrior. No death one sounds easy but I don't think the 1hp quest is worth the time Haven't done any of those yet.
Owh, there is much fun in solving those puzzles. But ya sure I can or I can give hints up to you. I'll try to shoot a video of the way I found in the evening then give the link for it in private messages on request or create a thread with SPOILER in the title.
