Test Build 2.0

    Yes, the build version has been promoted to 2.0. We figure it's warranted given that we're adding new content and the league system. It's Card Hunter 2.0!

    Here are the full build notes for this build, mostly league fixes from the last build. We'll be scheduling more league tests shortly.

    Leagues
    • Moved most static league info into the league description table to make it easier to start new league instances.
    • League overtime can be set via league description.
    • Don't show negative league games remaining in league results.
    • Added a tutorial prompt when first completing a league.
    • Clarified some other league prompts.
    • Don't show the warning about no MP party when attempting to join a non-party based league.
    • Fix using the tournament end banner for renown up announcements.
    • Clarify what various league timers show.
    • Don't group all chest prizes together - award the top chest prize to all tied players.
    • Fix sending league perspective to all users when pod fills, not just the user who last joined the pod.
    • Don't stop players playing more games past league maximum.
    • Made some changes to the artifact anarchy league board.
    • Updated league icon art
    • League counts down to opening not start.
    Cards
    • Separated armor trigger into a separate phase that happens after pre-damage triggers. Fixes Hot Flames not always boosting damage before armor is applied.
    • Added Armor 1 to the Wyrmhides.
    • Fixed card renderer to deal with cards with two trigger rolls.
    • Fix Lockdown Blessing components.
    • Fix Free Action keyword on Corrosive Touch.
    • Removed damage from Sticky Spittle and made burst.
    • Fixed play text on healing benediction.
    • Fixed a bunch of typos.
    • Put a cap on Psychic Blast damage reduction to make sure damage doesn't go negative.
    • Removed damage from mental flensing.
    • Added duration to hemmorrhage rules text.
    • Implemented Melt Armor.
    Adventures
    • Distinguish treasure hunts and locked adventures so that we can show the trog melter as guaranteed loot for valley of tezkal.
    • Fixed bad pixel in AotA dungeon icons
    • Moved some adventures on the map
    • Fixed typos on a bunch of module covers.
    Shops
    • Add artifact chest shop to campaign map.
    • Show waiting overlay while opening a store chest to avoid multiple open clicks.
    Story/Prompts
    • Un-capitalized "dragon" in prompts.
    • Fixed prompt typos.
    Items
    • Removed the "noLoot" flag from a whole bunch of new items.
    Pizza/Bundles
    • Added AotA delivery SWF.
    Monsters
    • Added new monster movement sounds
    • Made Elder Mind a 2x2 figure
    Audio
    • Fixed missing monster voice
    • Fixed tree audio volume
    Figures
    • Added the new tag to the new figures.
    API
    • REST API: You will be able to query rating ranges for players.

    In Create Casual Game / Choose Board / Non-ranked the board "Chess Henge" is listed twice. First occurrence is near the bottom of the first page and the second at the end of the list. I haven't tested them to see if there's any difference but different names would probably be called for even in that case.

    Not sure if there's a better thread for this, but I just completed the last AotA module ("Black Plume Mountain") and I found it a little disappointing that Gary didn't say anything to me after my victory. The saga's just... over, without any comment or notification or anything. This made killing the dragon feel a bit empty.

    Maze of the Mind does not proc for step attacks, X,Team! moves, elvish mobility/scamper. But it does proc for Team Run, Team Shift and Violent Spin/Teleport Self in a weird way.

    Venterr played Team Run, Maze of the Mind procc'ed and AI(Xanguine) chose the destination for Venterr but I was able to move my remaining 2 chars myself, wai ?

    Venterr played Violent Spin, AI moved Venterr away then teleport self on Venterr triggered. By then, the move had alr been completed.

    Makes sense that it wouldn't proc for X, Team! cards, by the way, since those are assists, not moves.

    I just bought the AotA package on the test server. I already had bought all the treasure hunts, for whatever it's worth.
    As I speak, the sound effects of the package opening with accompanying fanfare are playing on an unending loop. (I clicked whatever the confirm button was, and then the sound effects started over, and they've been going on and on and on...)

    I went into the chest shop and opened a chest and the sound effects loop stopped.

    Another typo:

    Elsewhere you use the abbreviation "AotA".

    EDIT: Um, I could have sworn you were using AotA, but now I'm seeing AoA everywhere. Either you changed it when I wasn't looking, or my memory is making things up again.

    The second rule box doesn't say "Keep.", but the card remains in hand after you move.

    In that case it's wrong in a whole lot of places, like the news on the login page, inventory button, and the artifact chest shop.

    Troll warriors in Troll pit of Troll tyrant have unlimited actions, despite not having any cards with free action, wai ?

    They're separate monster groups, so they're not minions. I think?
