It's taking more than a minute to load the client on the test server, which usually means it's a new client. Or maybe the test server is busy compiling or something.
Speaking of new builds, there's one on the test server with celestial maps, supposed reconnection functionality, maybe other things. Are we going to be asked to check it out? I've already found a bug but I imagine I shouldn't report stuff until Jon asks us to take a look?
I'm guessing we're not supposed to count this as a release candidate - but I suggest you report any bugs you find either way Flax.
Well I'm not sure where to put it, but here... Visual glitch whenever previewing the cards on an item (with right-click or spacebar or zoom). This happens for me on ALL items in shops and the keep, across multiple logins. If it matters, I'm using Chrome, latest developer channel version. EDIT: Just tested in some probably up-to-date-ish version of Firefox, same thing.
I can reproduce Flaxative's visual glitch. It even happens when examining empty equipment slots. EDIT: not limited to items: Another issue: When you reconnect to a timed match, both timers are shown greyed out and blank until you do something. If the timer expires in this state, no message is given and attempts to resign won't do anything. Attempting to play a card, however, will take you to the defeat screen. PS. We need more people on the test server to test spectating of reconnects (and what happens when spectators reconnect).
More: Visual glitch doesn't happen when you right-click cards in your hand, and doesn't happen in Greenfang's Challenge. Spectators don't reconnect to the battle they were spectating. Probably WAI. Spectators don't get messages when a player they're watching disconnects and reconnects. Reconnecting clears the battle log, so if you lose connection on opponent's turn you can't see what they played.
Good catch. I'll take a look at getting that one fixed up. There *shouldn't* be anything different when a spectator reconnects (since there should be no such thing as "reconnecting" as a spectator, since it isn't your battle if you're just a spectator). Still, it's worth looking at to be sure.
