Spoiler: from original post I started up a game of Artifact Anarchy. Right off the bat, round 1, turn 1, (I went first,) my Whorl (with an o) had Imp Blast and Spark Generator. I decided to play Imp Blast first. ~shrug~ For no good reason, Blast triggered Generator from my hand. Here's the full, simple battle log, bolded for emphasis: Riptide drew Run. My opp unfortunately disconnected; therefore, that really is the entire log. Furthermore, I would've loved to've given you the full console battle log, but Chrome + low RAM will drop tabs from memory if there's no sound playing, and I came to the forum while on the victory-by-inactivity screen, which of course has no sound playing. $:^ [ Good news is this should be super simple to reproduce, eh? The other spark/arcane boost trait probably needs testing, too. Impetuous Slash triggered Wimpy in hand. Impetuous Heal triggered Talented Healer in hand. Vampire Form triggered Talented Healer in hand.
I'm not entirely sure this is a bug, boosts can trigger in hand so shouldn't trait boosts trigger as well? (for example Uncanny Dodge).
If that is the rule maybe the wording of the trait keyword needs to include something to that effect. EDIT: will something like Immovable trigger in hand?
Some traits do, some don't. I have not found a consistent patter of which do or don't. As far as Immovable goes, I haven't tested that one.

Pretty funny interaction here while ransacking the greatest adventurer in all of Cardhuntria. Thanks to Advanced Vampirism, I had Vampire Form and Talented Healer in hand. Hey hey, gimme another Vampire card if I'm gonna be Talented, right? I played Vampire Form first. Because I played a card with the Heal keyword, it triggered Talented Healer (surprising and funny! um, yay adding Cantrip to a Trait? lol) which is fine -- except the problem was, of course, Talented was still in hand. (Fwiw, Anne Athema had full HP, hence gaining 0 instead of 2.)
