Every campaign challenge complete

I don't want to brag but... Actually, nah, I want to brag. OH MY, HOW AWESOME AM I?
Big thanks to JSNFMPGH for being my back-up brain, my moral support and my nimbus dispenser.

Highlights include:
Using flash flood and acid blast to beat Blitzenripper
Completing Eldermind II (1hp) with a wizard with 4 PoK, 3 WoW and 2 FoA
Thinking up the craziest builds possible, somehow succeeding

So if you're stuck on something, gimme a yell. I probably won't play through it with you but am happy to give suggestions

What was the hardest challeng in your opinion?

 

1hp were definitely the hardest, and the AotA ones were absolute pains.
I probably couldn't tell you which one specifically was the worst as I'm still suffering from the PTSD they caused

 

As his trusty assistant in these, I can tell you that Elder Mind 1hp was the hardest, by far.

 

Harder than Black Plume Mountain?

 

Black plume took a lot of shuffling with different strategies.
Eventually we settled on 2x dwarf wizards.
First level - resistant hide, blood lockets for dealing with the umber bulks and maybe some cheeky volcanoes if you're feeling lazy.
Second level - volcano is your friend
Third level - as many reliable mail as you can fit, draw 2 on each wiz then keep Blitzy at range 3 with flash flood. Kill him with laser beacons (he usually discards armor so this doesn't take as long as you'd think)

On the other hand, Elder Mind was just 'let's see what works and try to get lucky'

 

I entirely agree, Elder Mind was the hardest for me as well (even before laser beacon was a thing).

 

Although I think we struggled with the 1st and 2nd levels of Elder Mind more. Accelerate time + volcano quickly take out the biggest threat on Eldermind III

 

The 2nd level of Elder Mind had me throwing my mouse, several times.

 

I don't actually have anything to contribute to this discussion, but I just wanted to point out that I, too, have completed all the challenges.

I just got that in randimar's today.

 

The strategy that somehow finally worked for this was an agro nimbus priest drawing attention with a bouncy elf wizard running around throwing down illusory barriers. This was probably the strategy that surprised me the most when it worked, considering the wiz only had 2 FoA and 4 PoK for attacks but still managed to do enough damage
