Troll's Ire is the best 2 x minor token weapon with Sundering StrikeS. I've bought it twice for the SP campaign. Everything else on your list I would skip without hesitation. (I know that many consider Hawkwind's Moccasins as one of the best boots for MP, but I don't play MP )
Troll's Ire has more use in SP, but Hawkwind's Moccasins are the best tokenless mobility boots for MP. Both are good picks. *** Nasrum's Moccasins & Superb Toughness are the only legendaries in RR this week I don't own yet. Since I don't any need extra copies from rest of the selection, I might buy Nasrum's.
Trolls Ire is a good weapon in MP and SP Klonox's Warper I actually use as a substitute for Reality Warper Harkwinds Maccasins? I dont know why everyone say its such a good item - only good in large maps for dwarf warriors
Nasrums is a good item when you run a warrior with Barbed Plates or Enchanted Mail. About two weeks ago I actually saw one player draw Enchanted Mail on the first round and then Enchanted Harness the second - it was so funny to watch the other guy's burning wizards try to fight him
On some SP maps I use them on dwarf wizards to get separation, LOS, or both. The card draw doesn't hurt either. It isn't often, because I usually go with FS & volcano. Still, it's very good movement for a tokenless boot.
Here's what I've got for this week. Help? Barnum's Staff Bohemian Ear Spoon Chartwell's Amulet Ewix's Evolving Ensemble Hu La Houp's Vicious Circle Although I'm tempted to get the Circle because it looks interesting, it was apparently also supposed to be Epic.
Barnum's Staff: This is a great burning staff and would be my first pick from your selection. Here's Peon's review of Barnum's Staff. Bohemian Ear Spoon: Really bad weapon for . Low damage and no step attacks. If you want Polearm Slash, hope for Crazy Sal's Halberd. Chartwell's Amulet: Nice item, but I wouldn't pay for it. Look for cheaper Rod Of Palver Pree instead. Ewix's Evolving Ensemble: Only way to get Mimetic Crown on a non-helmet. I'm not a fan of Adaptable. You might want to consider getting this, if you want to play with it on MP or high-level SP modules AND have plenty of gold. Hu La Houp's Vicious Circle: A bug in a item rarity calculation script pushed this to legendary unfortunately. Blue Manchu has informed that despite the bug, it's going to stay legendary, so it's not going to be cheaper in the future. I wouldn't pay 2.5k for a weapon, I might play with in couple of SP modules, that I don't run regularly.
I'd love to get my hands on Ewix's Evolving Ensemble; It has two unique (and good) cards for the slot. (no other heavy armor has Adaptable or Mimetic Crown) With a helmet like Spacediver's Face Screen, you've got yourself quite an indomitable character.
Ewix's Evolving Ensemble is a one-of-a-kind item and the best at that. It might not suit your style, though, since you're going to spend a major token for it. Barnum's Staff is one of best fire staffs in the game. You get 4 bursts and a linear for a major/minor price, which is good. People prefer Searing Pain though. Chartwell's Amulet I wouldn't easily dismiss if you're a wizard player. This is the best SPR tokenless item (though not many people play SPR).
Guess which letter is sponsoring this week's Randimar's? Bewlin's Baffling Bauble, Banik's Bubbling Bauble, Boxton's Red Pendant, Bohemian Ear Spoon, Blackhammer, Bullseye Shield The only thing I'm considering is Knife Of St. Blenko. Does anyone use Inspiring Presence these days?
I got a Knife Of St. Blenko's a while back and have had a lot of fun pairing it up with my new Firebrand. Inspiring Presence can be really, really powerful if you build for it - A potential of up to 15 health and as many as three attack cards makes for a devastating card in the right circumstances.
There's only one reason for me to use general card removal cards and that's Simian Reflexes. (I hate those apes) For that purpose I usually end up using a mix of Armorbane PendantS and Axander's Twisted CircletS. I'd never buy BBB; Farzil's Perplexing Horn is as good and only a fifth of the prize. (even though I wouldn't use that one either, because of the major power token cost) Wym's Fiery Bangle is a solid burning item. Buy it if you have the money and you're interested in burning wizards. I'f you're able to spend a minor power token on a divine armor, Cintxotl Mail is a solid choice. (I'm guessing that tokenless Dark Chain Shirt appeals more to most players though)
I use it in some burfft league builds. I like it. I played around with Bewlin's Baffling Bauble in Chess Madness, when I couldn't come up with anything else to spent the major token for. I wouldn't pay 2.5k for it, though. Like j3st3r said, get Wym's Fiery Bangle if you want and have the gold to put together a legendary-hungry burning wizard. I only bought Cintxotl Mail to get close at completing my epic collection. I really haven't found any use for it. *** Two new legendaries for me in RR this week: Ariston's Helmet & Darune's Dagger. Lame duplicate legendary selection too, so I think I continue saving for Holiday shop.
I got Ariston ages ago and have never used it, not even in Aristocat. Darune I have used occasionally (it's great against trogs), but anyone who can afford to buy it won't need it. That's what I'm doing, have 9K saved up for Christmas gifts to myself.
Insta-buys for me: 2nd Bleneth's Skull, 1st Bloodchopper & 1st Quellic's Boots. On the fence: 2nd Darkforce Nunchaku and/or 2nd Deadly, Deadly Staff. Thoughts?
