One key feature I learned from Jon about map designs is to not have "only diagonal" movement to certain locations (as seen by your pencil blockers). Also, the pencils are difficult to read in exactly what they block. And the whole map is super chaotic and busy. I'd try simplifying it down and making it easy to read and see and remove any "only diagonal" movement paths.
This map purpose was to have a look of real life duel in card hmter like dnd sesion. Tried to make it look most real and with use of common items u have when doing sesion pemcils , notebooks , erasers , dices. There is no way to size up or down items in card huter editor ( making pencils bigger to fit one row of squares they are just in one slim size. Or there is no way to ad blocking terrain indicator to make map easyier to read
If Jon dosent likes diagonal pathways its his problem i have no problem with them

I like the concept, and even hit Like on the third version, @kontodogrania1, but the backward shadows and perspectives give too much of an M. C. Escher feel, sorry to say. I know you're looking for variety in appearance of the objects, but I dare say, backward Demon Portals and upside-down objects glued to the board like it's a ceiling likely aren't the way to go about it. $:^ `

ps. it would be nice to project own square block visual and save them. Then i need to be able to easy fill map with them making everything piece by piece is time consuming and tiring. maps would have better visuals.
