  2. I don't know all the details about this thing but I don't see anything that would hurt the gaming channels. Looks to me like all YouTube wants to do is to get rid of those movies and tv-shows that people upload.

I know you can use copyrighted material for product reviews under the "fair play" law, and I could see gameplay videos falling under that same category. Also gameplay videos are an awesome way to get free marketing so I don't see why developers would have a problem with them.

  3. The flagging is part of a blanket system that does not discriminate on how the content is used. It will even flag interviews and reviews which are protected under the Fair Use laws. You can dispute the claims, but the time it takes to garner a response can take a long time.
Boogie298 made a video of it (I wish I could convince him to give Card Hunter a try instead of Hearthstone), and Angry Joe lost his s**t over all the flags on his videos.

  4. Oh, ok. I didn't fully understand what the issue was but I understand it now. Yeah, this is definitely a problem and hopefully something is done about it.

Seems like YouTube is making some major changes. First the comment thing, now this.

Also I cannot believe I said "fair play" instead of "fair use"..
