Burning Blaze skeleton awards 2, each small skeleton awards 1 - I think the screen showed up earlier than the start was added? Unless my memory fails that badly
Actually if that's the case then the bug turns into "Burning Skeleton didn't award 2 stars". I remember it specifically because I was fully expecting that to be the case but was then taken aback by only getting 1 star. From what you say it sounds like this doesn't happen every time.
