Lets be honest, some/many of the legendaris are just awful and not worth the gold to buy. legendaries that came out in the original game, before the expansions, in particular, are pretty bad. Is there ever going to be plans to make a tuning pass to make them actually worth using?
Hi @haho ! I believe the original intent was to make the usefulness of legendary items range from "great" to "abysmal", with "great" occupying the smallest percentage. This seems to apply to other rarities as well, and I really don't expect the philosophy behind it to change. It's annoying, particularly for new players who drop worthless legendaries, but it's good that many of the most useful items drop readily and are available in the normal shops, rather than having power strictly linked to rarity. Worthless legendaries are also annoying to us old players, but most of us have learned to live with it by this point.
worthless legendaries should not cost 2500 gold then. if they are worthless the cost should reflect that. it seems kind of absurd there was a deliberate intention to make some of the MOST RARE of drops completely useless. maybe if each class of item has the same chance to drop then it would not be so ridiculous to add insult to injury
