After seeing some feedback from players who lost interest after completing the campaign, I was wondering what could be done to get people to come back again and again. I think a daily quest system would be a valuable addition to the SP experience - here's a couple of ideas... 1) Beat one adventure at each odd or even level - perhaps alternate daily, so day 1 beat one each level at L2, L4, L6 etc., then day 2 would be one at L3, L5, L7 etc. 2) Beat 10 battles using only dropped gear - the battles would increase in difficulty from 1 to 10, the gear being added to the quest inventory so you could swap out before each battle. You would only keep the loot from the final chest, so that legendary you dropped part way through?...tough luck! Perhaps use L18 characters randomly chosen and battles from a pool chosen by BM? Anyway, the quest loot could be a guaranteed epic, plus a guaranteed club epic - could see me repeatedly dropping a week's club membership there! Any ideas out there to bring in SP hunters every day?
This would be great if new loot could be kept separately. I hope it happens someday. Any of the random adventures suggested in the past might help. I'd like a level 16 arena that uses all the maps from the current MP rotation. Use either the top 4 AIs, or just Cardotron. Ideally, the maps would appear in random order. Standard adventure loot would apply. It might lead to crossover play in both directions.
Having played the game for a couple of months now it does seem that the SP enjoyment is limited. As such I like the above suggestions, and think these would add reasons to come back to the game I would also love to see implemented many suggestions that have been brought up:- A fixed bandit location for all users (as per loot fairy) – so if nothing else I will play the LP and bandit levels each day. I simply cant play every mission each day time wise to catch the bandit Extra classes added like rogues or rangers Possibly mixed classes – red mage, necromancer, paladin AI only opponents for MP mode (as per Jarmo’s previous post) Extra quest options (solo adventures, racial/equipment restrictions) as suggested on many prior threads. There have been lots of excellent quest suggestions. Along with the ability to replay quests Easy/hard options on SP missions, for instance having to play against the superior AI’s on the levels or giving AI characters more/less HP, better/worse cards, or just more/less characters The ability to craft items Survival mode, where you take a specific party and run down as far as you can. Either rogue like or Sir Valimont CHIRP idea a mode that's just a randomized singular dungeon, that scales to party level to aide post game completion levelling A survival defence level where you take your current party and have to survive (possibly hold VP squares) while beating off wave after wave of incoming enemies until you die A MP map with no VP would be interesting Specific daily challenges Making SP sandbox levels easy to find (I think at the moment you can only create custom games against AI in MP)
