[edit] I was mistaken. It turns out Toughness is classed as an armour card, and thus it is bypassed by Shredding Strike. So this isn't a bug. Sorry about that. Please disregard / delete this thread. [original post follows below...] My dwarf had Vulnerable attached to him, and held Toughness in his hand. He was attacked by an enemy using Shredding Strike. My expectation was that he'd take zero damage, but instead he took the full damage of the attack. Toughness is not a a form of armour (as far as I know), and so it should be unaffected by Shredding Strike; and the description for Vulnerable says that it take affect only when the character takes damage - which shouldn't happen when the damage is prevented by Toughness. Here's a quote from the combat log and from the console log: Code: BATTLE LOG: Player=Gary,Scenario=Gnome Rift,Room=GNO2 (karadoc),RoomID=1479898,Event=PlayAction,Action=Shredding Strike,Instigator=Muxy,Targets=Boltzmann BATTLE LOG: Player=Gary,Scenario=Gnome Rift,Room=GNO2 (karadoc),RoomID=1479898,Event=TriggerSucceed,Trigger=Toughness,TriggeringActor=Boltzmann,AffectedActors=,TriggerType=PreDamage,TriggerLocation=Hand BATTLE LOG: Scenario=Gnome Rift,Room=GNO2 (karadoc),RoomID=1479898,Group=Boltzmann,Event=Discard,Card=Toughness BATTLE LOG: Player=Gary,Scenario=Gnome Rift,Room=GNO2 (karadoc),RoomID=1479898,Event=TriggerSucceed,Trigger=Vulnerable,TriggeringActor=Boltzmann,AffectedActors=,TriggerType=PreDamage,TriggerLocation=ActorAttachment BATTLE LOG: Scenario=Gnome Rift,Room=GNO2 (karadoc),RoomID=1479898,Msg=Boltzmann took 7 damage BATTLE LOG: Scenario=Gnome Rift,Room=GNO2 (karadoc),RoomID=1479898,Msg=The active player is now karadoc
erm, actually it's wai. Toughness is an armor, note the grey card background and SS overrides Toughness. Much the same way as Unstoppable Chop overrides Duck. https://forums.cardhunter.com/threads/shredding-strike-vs-toughness.2093/#post-22801
Yes, I ninja edited just before your post after I noticed that while checking the that my wiki links were working. I guess the source of my confusion was that the card doesn't say "armor" on it, whereas other armour cards do. But on closer inspection it does have the armour symbol in the bottom-right corner, and it is the right colour for an armour card. (I never remember which colour means what anyway.) Anyway, there's no bug here. Sorry for the misreport.
