It has NO - ZERO, enemies and zero victory squares for me - so it's basically impossible to play it as you can't progress past the first map. Reloading and retrying has no effect - something's gone very fubar in the latest patch here I think. WHERE MAH GNOMES AT?! Anyone home? No one's answering the doors when I knock...
I am on the third map of Goblins in the Woods right now, Quite Glade - GOBW 986. I'm supposed to be facing down some Goblin Berserkers. There are no enemies on the map. Edit to add: When I play a card, Gary just auto-passes.
I'm thinking this is related to this posted on dev twitter yesterday: Rudolpho Emulio @RudolphoCH .@DorianHart - fixed spelling of 'berserker' in various places So either that broke our berzerkers (as they're now named berserkers?), or that fixed it and it'll be sorted next patch? Either way, all three seem connected as the mobs I'm fighting are supposedly Gnome Berzerkers. So renamed decks - but not renamed in adventure files is my guess?
I just killed my own character (on purpose by attacking him), the human wizard Amadan. As soon as he died Gary earned 2 victory point stars and the Victory! screen popped up ending the battle. In my favor. I was then able to successfully collect loot (two items, grabbed them without any trouble) and move on to the next map in the adventure, Grunt Patrol. There are enemies here. This map looks fine. Might it be a problem with Berserker-type NPCs? Do they have Barking Cap (I ask because of the error)?
Thanks for the tip, but as I'm writing my tactical journal/monster deck entries I can't play trough it unless it's complete as I need to chart it - so I'll have to wait for the patch sadly. Barking cap is fixed next patch, was a miss-spelling on a card on it's item suite, but the item contains mostly team movement so likely not something Bers/zerkers have.
Heh, not really meant as a tip, just a report. I really didn't expect killing my own character would win the battle, I was just trying to see how Gary/the game reacted to specific cards I was playing. That happened a couple turns in after I had drawn cards a couple times, and played most of them.
