Tired of killing people? Then this deck is for you!!!! Beware though.... Using this deck may sprout more hurtful comments than killing people the regular way So here it is: SRC_Invincible Level 1 Dwarf Wizard Pearwood StaffFrosty StaffEye Of WicnaRod Of WindsGreenstone PendantSensate's RingRobe Of LightnessGlimmer BootsSolid RockElectroporter Novice1 x Mighty Spark1 x Chilling Rime1 x Acid Jet1 x Little Zap1 x Cold Snap1 x Big Zap1 x Spark Inductor3 x Whirlwind Enemies3 x Winds Of War2 x Hover1 x Immovable1 x Toughness1 x Run2 x Whirlwind3 x Frost Jolt2 x Wall Of Stone1 x Improved Telekinesis2 x Squeamish1 x Dimensional Traveller1 x Hardy Mail1 x Fright1 x Cloth Armor1 x Spark Generator2 x Cone Of Cold1 x Parry Fat dwarf Level 1 Dwarf Warrior Tango SpearLochaber AxeBolg's Club Of EvasionDependable MailSlippery ShieldWeakling's HelmBertha's Big ClogsSolid RockNovice Impaling1 x Vicious Thrust3 x Nimble Strike3 x Potent Stab1 x Walk1 x Parry2 x Impaler1 x Penetrating Cut3 x Dancing Cut3 x Reliable Mail3 x Hard To Pin Down3 x Strong Bludgeon1 x Wimpy1 x Weak Chop2 x Mail3 x Dodge1 x Toughness1 x Immovable1 x Hardy Mail1 x Unreliable Block1 x Officer's Harness JellyMan Level 1 Dwarf Wizard Pearwood StaffFrosty StaffRod Of WindsHurricane StoneGreenstone PendantSensate's RingRobe Of LightnessGlimmer BootsSolid RockElectroporter Novice1 x Run1 x Toughness1 x Chilling Rime1 x Big Zap1 x Fright1 x Little Zap1 x Cloth Armor1 x Cold Snap1 x Spark Inductor2 x Whirlwind1 x Acid Jet3 x Frost Jolt1 x Dimensional Traveller4 x Whirlwind Enemies1 x Hardy Mail3 x Winds Of War1 x Spark Generator2 x Cone Of Cold2 x Squeamish1 x Immovable1 x Mighty Spark2 x Improved Telekinesis2 x Hover1 x Parry How to use this deck: Get the ultimate tank with huge armor, toughness, dodge, hard to pin downs, to a victory point!! This is really easy thanks to his nimble strikes and your mages' wind of wars. I usually get my warrior to the victory point on the first turn!!! Next, just stall for 6 turns using wirlwinds/winds of war when they get close and freeze them when they are far away. When your warrior dies, replace him with one of your mages and keep stalling!! Weaknesses: immovable, unlucky wirlwinds, they run wirlwind too, courts with many victory points! Other items to use: Staff of winter, more wirlwinds (the more the merrier), more nimble strikes Rating: Dunno, seems pretty good. Currently I have a 1600ish rating, but I only played like 5 games with the deck
Funny build, IlkKill, and I was thinking of using all 5 of my Rod Of Winds in the same party, but I don't want to become known as "that guy that runs nothing but ww/wwe". I can't imagine the rage from opponents. The idea of a warrior with multiple Immovable and lots of hard to pin down, dodge, parry, and toughness is kinda cool, though. I just don't know if I could stall well enough to make it work with so few attacks in his deck. What do you think of using Axe Of Evasion and/or Pirate's Rapier with this build? What about Blocking Mace? These are items that I have, unlike the Bolg's Club Of Evasion and Lochaber Axe. Have you considered stacking Officer's Harness on the warrior with items like General Jelom's Helm, Corian's Boots, Xander's Mail, and possibly even Perfect Stoutness? What about using Silver Helmet for the extra Dodge and Rushing Aura to get to the victory square quicker? Are you deliberately avoiding Immovable on your wizards by using Glimmer Boots over Goat Boots? or do you just prefer Hardy Mail to Weakened Armor? If trying to avoid Immovable, Solid Rock could be replaced with Perfect Toughness, but I hate Rusty Armor too. Would Sticky Slippers be a good choice for the warrior, or would that leave him with not enough defenses? It's interesting that you choose Frosty Staff x2 over a Staff Of Winter. How often is Cone Of Cold a liability rather than a help? Are you often able to hit more than 1 target with it? I like that you are able to get around Fright with this build by including so many ww/wwe cards. Do you feel like you need Short Perplexing Ray to help deal with bad luck ww/wwe , or do you prefer playing without it?
The reason why I dont use winter is because I don't have it..... Or else I would defiantly choose it over frosty staff!! The armor build on the warrior sounds like a good plan too! It might work even better for stalling than my current build! I like dodge better personally though because I can use it to move + I don't have xander mail and other essential armor build items. I would defiantly choose xander mail over dependable mail though officer hardness > mail The reason why I dont use goat boots is because I don't have it either. It is pretty much on the same level as glimmer boots though, maybe a little better if they run control mages, but otherwise pretty much the same. I think sticky slippers is good considering all your other cards gives you enough defense. It requires 1 blue token though which I don't think is worth it. I rather use goat boots or other boots that gives you hard to pin down.
I like that you use the Sensate Ring. I've always thought it was a pretty good item for the cost. I think I'll have to try this build out since I'm looking for something new to play that's pretty fun. Plus, any chance to piss people off and have them call me a troll is a chance I'll have to try. I agree with Angry: I think you should make the warrior more stationary. There are a lot of great items you can use that have Trip or similar cards that could be really fun to build around. But I also understand wanting to get to the VP on first turn. Hrmm.... tough choice. You could also try adding some more burning cards to push off the immovables?
Noooo, that's a bad item, I was running once a build based on that ring specifically, to free up space for staff of winters, and sadly speaking, 2 push just doesn't beat conventional VP movements. I lost alot of elo from trying this stunt. Overall it may not be that Improved Telekinsis is a bad card in of itself, as usually, moving you're.., say, dwarf warrior two without any damage is very good, but it's the little zap included that makes the whole thing a no no.
I have tinkered with "pacifist" builds for a while now. I think they all ultimately suck, but I think the whirlwinds are the best tool in your toolkit. The thing is, whirlwind is already a tool in a deck that allows you to hold VP's pretty well AND murder for points. I am still trying come up with some breakthrough broken trick for holding VP's, but... As for your build, you may want to try Teleport Self, maybe on Greenguard Boots? I have also tried spamming Wall Of Stone.
Oh just thought about this, you could try stone walls in conjunction with your build in order to block off routes and troll people more.
Not my way, thanks. I hate the Manticores immensely, as they require pure luck and patience instead of intellect.
You can use other freezing staffs too! Or even trembling staff to put the tokens elsewhere! I just like pearlwood cause it gives 2 winds of war + the fright doesn't matter with the number of whirlwinds you are running
