Who's game? Casual games / Tourny down the road? Rules: use 0 tokens in your build. No quality restrictions. I may have to institute a firestorm ban in the future if it ends up being all firestorm spam, OR limit it to 1 wiz per team.
Interesting. Cheese firestorm/crapton of heals FTW? Vampire elves? Parrying warriors? What build will rule the day?
It's hard to get tokenless healing. The best healing in low-powered PvP previously was Silver Healing Ring, and that costs a token. Vampire's Blades and Flax's Thirsty Vials are tokenless, though...
This sounds very interesting. I suspect the games will take longer with fewer traits and high-powered cards in play, but that might be a good thing.
I'd play my Firestorm farming build and pray that I draw my Resistant Hide first. If I had 9x Nifty Halberd I might try 3 dwarf warriors.
I built a 2 wiz/1 pr firestorm build to try out. Healing weapons are the kicker here.. there's not a lot, so decided to go half-heal, half-draw. Wizards are all about the trait cycling/firestorm.
My main concern would be how dominant firestorm would be, but if people run a ton of reliables, resistant hides it'll balance out I think
Okay, Stexe's tourney is almost over, so, if anyone is interested, I plan on starting to formulate some rules/decks for no-token pvp. Only rule right now is to make a deck that uses 0 tokens.
