After this participants will battle on random map from remaining maps pool. Applies to elimination format: During best of 3: First battle - player 1 bans 2 maps and player 2 chooses the map where they battle. Second battle - player 2 bans 2 maps and player 1 chooses the map where they battle. Third battle - random map. During best of 5: First battle - player 1 bans 2 maps and player 2 chooses the map where they battle. Second battle - player 2 bans 2 maps and player 1 chooses the map where they battle. Third battle - player 1 bans 2 maps and player 2 chooses the map where they battle. Fourth battle - player 2 bans 2 maps and player 1 chooses the map where they battle. Fifth battle- random map. 1)Player 1 is considered the left one. Player 2 is the right one. 2)During Eighth-finals all 3 matches must be played, even if participant is 2-0. After Eighth-finals participants just need to play enough games to be considered the winners. Example: 3-0 in best of 5 means you do not need to play more. 3)Maps are banned first, then the items/cards. 4)After you ban a map once you can not ban it again. Banning process takes place in each game. So you ban and change deck 3 times. Find your opponent, assigned map and mode HERE
That was for second stage. Brackets were not made by that time, I just numbered them for my comfort. Anyways current bracket is the correct one and everything was randomized, nothing is seeded.
Made a thread with all the stats . Lot of people enjoyed live spectating the ongoing matches, discord also gave updates of what was happening. If you missed them you can still watch videos of the grand finals.
