Being the sheriff of any town in Cardhuntria is no easy job, what with all the monsters and the feuding baronies and incomprehensible schemes of nigh-immortal dragons, liches, sentient weapons, and everything else. But now you've heard of three truly disreputable rogues, who've murdered and looted their way across Cardhuntria. They destroyed priceless historical treasures, left empty vaults and dead nobles in at least two baronies, re-started a war with the lizardmen by raiding their most sacred temples, and wreaking general havoc across a quarter of Greater Cardhuntria. Maybe they can get away with that crap elswhere, but NOT IN YOUR CITY! Spoiler "...at least thirty-three counts of murder, sixty-five of armed brigandry, too many assaults to count. And a citation for illegally parking a wagon full of stolen treasure in an intersection." Now if the jail will just hold them this time. ---- Comments time! So, the map is still probably a bit too easy, I need to tweak the balance some more. Mostly, I was proud of the way the map ended up, the arena walls made a good feel for elevated roads like this. And yes, it's another scenario fighting against an adventuring party, if the game supported it, it'd be a neat trick to pull in their single player party for the player to fight, but that'd be complex to code, and only really work once as a surprise. Edit: Already tweaked once, forgot the landing tokens for the dead characters. Threw in some dice and doodads for fun too. Forgot to put [SP] in the title, too.
The map is very easy as in most of the time all of your guys stay living. I suggest changing the enemies. Can you test my scenario it's the second to top non-stickied sub-topic in other words it is "The Ring of Death"?
Yeah, I know it's kind of easy. I think there's more to difficulty then making it so your party almost always dies. It's hard with the limits of the map editor to make other goals though. Maybe need to add a victory point for the adventurers to get to to escape, so you have to stop them, not just a big fight.
