Hi, I recently got the basic edition and have begun to play the treasure hunts. Just wanted to say I thought The Defense of Woodhome writing fell short of Card Hunter's standards. It's an uninspired use of the zombie attack trope, especially as the gameplay doesn't even feel like a defense (no holding an entrance, no protecting NPCs).

Obviously some adventures are going to have worse writing than others, but considering this is the first treasure hunt (and possibly one many people try out using the campaign pizza?), polishing it might be a good use of time.

protecting npc's against a big force would certainly be a new spin on the defense.

I think the problem is that you have to redesign the entire game system to make such scenarios -levels with 3 groups (player/enemy/neutral), levels which have both player-made characters and pre-made characters on the same team (And whether or not you can control said NPC's).

I think it would add a HUGE variety of new possibilities to the table, and it would be a great improvement to the game, but it will take a while to implement.
