Spoiler So I was playing some Card Hunter earlier tonight and when I was done I had received this steam trading card. I've received a lot of these in the past, such as the Elder Mind, King Oakenshade, etc. But this was the first time I've seen one that is not currently implemented into the game, and I was just thinking that maybe (probably not, but you never know) this could be a teaser for an upcoming expansion. I doubt it, since this is still relatively soon after the AI expansion, but I feel like fighting demons and devils could be really cool as the archetypal monsters in the potential expansion. Sooooo thoughts?
Highly unlikely. That trading card was released at EttSC launch which was before AI which was before whatever is next.

True, not all of them are in the game, but like the ice demon, perhaps this "Hamletian" demon can be seen in one of the new Mauve Manticores.
Sorry, that's just a demon art asset we had lying around, I'm pretty sure. Next expansion won't have demons per se.
There's a whole of of unused demon art assets in the files if you go through them, more than any other type of monster as far as I can tell. I wonder if we'll ever explore some more high-level demon portals. Fun fact: A lot of them have nice butts.
