I'm sorry I didn't read through all 581 threads, but this wasn't in the Know but fixing area. I will submit a post to the thread with the specific console information the next time it happens. The last few times I have used 'team help' it has healed my already full wizard. My wizard does have the fewest hit points even while at full health.
Are you referring to Help the Weak? If so, this card always heals your character with the lowest health, even if they aren't hurt.
