    Refined item sorting

Currently, the item screen allows you to sort all or a subgroup of items once (cost/rarity/level/name/power), and then returns that primary sort with a secondary sorting by name (alphabetically).

What I'd like to see is the ability to control that secondary sorting. Say I'm searching for an epic or legendary tokenless Divine Weapon. I set the primary search to Divine Weapon and Power, and then I have all my tokenless Weapons arranged alphabetically. I have to hover over each one to see if it's the epic or legendary weapon I'm looking for. But if there was a secondary search function (either a pair of dropdown menus or a second row of sort buttons under the first), then with one click I could rearrange all those tokenless Divine Weapons via rarity instead of name.

This is one of those terrible ideas that sounds great on paper, but other games seem to implement it well, so I wonder if it would add anything to Cardhunter. Simply, the ability to trade surplus items with other players. Perhaps we can only trade like for like (a legendary for a legendary), perhaps we can trade items for gold, perhaps we get to set the price we want for an item (want that legendary badly? you might have to trade two legendaries to get it).

The devs are probably sweating just thinking about the drama surrounding an idea like this, but I'm just throwing it out there. If it was properly implemented, it'd add another layer of depth to the CH community.

I don't know that a 2nd row would need to be implemented, just don't have a default secondary order but keep any previous sort order for ties (i.e. how sorting works for Excel). So in your example if you first sort by rarity and then by power token any items of the same power token level would retain the order they had in the rarity sort giving you that as your secondary by default. It would actually result in the ability to have tertiary and further sorting without crowding the screen.

Item trading cannot be implemented in a game with a trivial way to set up new accounts. It would lead to massive spamming of alt accounts and "trading" their good items to the main account. It would completely throw the game out of whack. I'm sorry, but it's just not doable.

It would also create an opening for real money trading ("sell me your best items for real money") and I think it's better that that doesn't exist in Card Hunter. I wouldn't want the game to be turned into a bazaar where you'd need to constantly think about the real world value of items instead of their game world value. Mixing the fantasy with harsh monetary reality would lessen the game, not enhance it. It's not a bad thing that Cardhuntria is its little island of economic unreality in the globe-spanning ocean of the real world.

Scarponi, excellent idea. Blue Manchu, please implement!

Yeah, I knew the trading thing was a bad idea but it's good to discuss it at least. Plus imagine the screaming from people who trade hard for legendaries that get nerfed straight after.

Another idea for the sorting: maybe just the ability to click the top row twice - the first sort is highlighted orange (as in the picture above) and the second sort is green or something. A thrid click or the reset button resets things.

I think the only real issue with the player to player trading is that yes, people will spam new accounts, and that's not okay.
But if they found some way to make it work, it would be sweet!

What I really want right now: Changing the colour scheme on your characters, so you can have more variety. That would be sweet!
