Whereas in the keep each character has an open position in the top left corner...
Whereas in the deck each character has space for two more cards...
Whereas treasure is already a part of the game...
Whereas creating a use for treasure would add value to treasure and increase likelihood of users buying pizza instead of spending treasure...
Whereas new aspects to the game keep the community involved and engaged...
Whereas an aspect of randomness has already been introduced through rolls and laser malfunctions...
I suggest allowing each character a new slot in the upper right hand corner in order to equip a single treasure to each character. This treasure would give two cards. The quality of the treasure would effect the quality of the cards: cheap treasure would give paper cards, legendary treasure would give gold or green cards. The two cards would be randomly generated along the lines of the character. One card would be randomly generated from among the cards allowed for that race. One card would be randomly generated from among cards allowed for that skill.
Example: A dwarf warrior with a legendary treasure equipped, such as troll cigars, in the keep would see two new gold cards appended to his crafted deck. They could show up as a strong bash, and a duck. Or, they don't show up as cards at all in the keep, the cards only pop up in game. Their origin would be marked as coming from the treasure.
Example: An elf wizard has equipped an uncommon treasure and while playing, draws an scouting run and a perplexing ray both marked as coming from his large adventurine.

Let me try it a different way: if you equip nothing you get two black cards randomly generated according to your race and skill. If you equip a common treasure you get two paper cards, uncommon, two bronze cards, rare, two silver cards, epic two gold cards, legendary, two gold or better cards according to your race and skill.

I don't want any extra random cards to my deck. Using legendary treasure to gain advantage over player who doesn't have treasure just widens the gap between established and new players.

I just want nicer treasure room for my keep.
    • A good quality humidor to store my panatellas and cigars.
    • A refrigerator with back-up generator and a big pantry to keep all my edible treasures fresh.
    • Sturdy hangers / hooks for displaying my Orc Painting collection.
    • Display cabinets for all my crowns, pearls, idols and trinkets.
