Hi Blu Manchu folks. I have been playing your game for a week now and I can say with complete truth that it is my favorite game of all time. And I have been playing this kind of thing since I saved my money and bought a monster 5 1/4 inch floppy drive for my C-64 as a kid.

The campaign was fantastic, played through that in a couple days and loved it all. I am normally not much of a PVP guy but I figured I might as well give that a try once the campaign was over, and after a couple games it turned out I was hooked! The balance and subtleties of the PVP are amazing.

My one complaint with the PVP system as it now stands is that you have me gaining way too many points for a win and not losing enough points for a loss. I haven't played all that many games and I have already shot up into the top 10 and my ranking is so high that I can no longer play against any "real" people. I had the luck to find another guy around my ranking on last night (Platouf) and get in a game against him, but other than that it is only against the computer opponent.

The other option would be to widen the range that the matchmaking system will set up for opponents. If I am at 1450 and there is someone online at 1250 and nobody else on, right now it seems like it will give us each computer opponents. What it should do is match us up against each other, if the 1450 rank wins, he gets 1 point.

There isn't even a way for me to "reset" my score back to zero so I can play against people again. Maybe this will be a non issue when there are thousands of people all online at once playing, I don't know. But for right now if you could set it so a win just gets you a point or two and a loss loses a bunch maybe it won't be so easy to jump PVP ranks so quickly.
