Hello, I've recently introduced Cardhunter to a friend of mine and he came up with two potential cards for wizards. Idea 1: trip wire - a magic spell that's invisible to your opponents, casting a 3 blocks wide wall (just like wall of fire, illusion or flash flood). The opponent can see that you place it, but not where. The blocks could have a glass like exterior to yourself. When the opponent accidently stands on one of the blocks, he has to halt, duration 1 (attachment). Once one block has been touched, the remaining 2 trip wire blocks disappear. Idea 2: booby trap - a magic spell with burst 1 that works in the same principle as the trip wire idea. You cast a maximum of 9 "invisible" blocks, that only have an effect when an opponent places a character on top of them. The opponent then takes 6 crushing damage and the remaining blocks disappear. Just thought I'd share these ideas with you, now the servers are down anyway.
While I love the idea of traps etc the problem is that unless they are neon pink with a giant glowing sign that says TRAP HERE!!! people will whine and belly ache about them being unfair until the cows come home and they are nerfed to effectively normal wall effects or removed from the game.

I like the idea of booby traps - would b great addition to a controlling wizard. But would suit new lasses such as rogue/ranger also. Be nice t osee the use of booby traps in SP mode also - especially if random/hidden placement
