I (1420ish at the time) got matched against a poor fellow who was 900-something. Judging by his gear, he was probably just starting MP. I know that players at 1500+ need a large rating window to land matches, but is that true for the below-1000 players? They should probably have a much smaller rating window, like +/- 200, for matches so that they don't get discouraged by blowouts. (Unless maybe watching someone with better gear tear you apart is a teaching moment?)
