Greetings: Please consider adding a separate volume setting for "GM Voice". I personally couldn't stand the voice interruptions between quest starts and finishes. So much so that I found the actual files, and manually edited all of them to be empty silent files. I would even like a setting to do without the GM banter entirely ...I don't even want to see them. However, even I think thats too nit-picky, but, the GM voice volume is a good compromise. Ni|
I think this would be a nice slider too! I'm more in the camp of "turning Melvin to Max", but the option would be handy. Also, Ni|, the Gm's don't reappear after the first playthrough, so you'll be seeing much less of them soon enough.
I miss the GM banter and wish we could have a setting to bring back the story as if it weren't completed already. Also, hey, where do you think all these sound effects come from? I already thought Gary was an excellent voice actor for a teenager, and then the AI release *oh wow* confirmed it. $;^ } But anyway, I know, some people turn off game music and stuff like that. Generally blows my mind when ppl do it, but game devs begain adding these options for a reason. (During what, the early 90s? Anyway.) A voice-prompt slider probably wouldn't actually hurt, other than the obvious annoyance of programming the voices to be on a separate sound category and testing them all again.
Thats a good idea. I didnt know that. I like Kalins idea. That way those who want to see it again, can have that option too. Although, I would still vote for a Voice Slider, because Ive kinda grown into reading what they are saying, but I still wouldn't want to hear it. Well...Id be tempted to listen if they were full characterized voice-overs, and not just tonal mood prompts. Ni|
