[suggestion{s}] self targeting of health/death of a hero/enemy cards etc

  1. hi,
    Loving the beta and have suggestions!

    Is it possible that all health effects can be self targeting?
    I'm not sure I follow why things such as minor heals and healing presence can't be targeted on the cleric that casts them

    Also, it seems that when I have a trait card and play it - and then draw a second one the same - even when played ( as I have to do) it brings no secondary benefit. i.e. I draw a healing spirit, play it, draw another - have to play it, but when I subsequently play a healing spell I only get 1 extra point of health...
    this means that on a number of occasions I've lost the benefits of trait cards as they are effectively discarded if things work out as above.
    Perhaps a rule that says you can't replace trait that's been played with an identical one? these secondary draws could just be shuffled back into the deck?

    With the death of a hero - the resizing of 'my' hands is causing issues - possibly because of my connection speed etc. - but it is annoying and has, on occasion, caused me to pick the wrong card from my hand as it resizes. This is particularly annoying given the inability to cancel move cards once selected.

    Enemy cards - it is possible that these can hold until I confirm that I've read them? {as per Magic TG on xbox live - a button press is needed to 'accept' the card's been played}
    --- I'm making great use of the 'chat' window to find out what's going on - please keep this feature!!

    Actually, this might not be that important as the majority of cards enemies play - certainly as far as I've got into the game - aren't likely to appear in my decks and are therefore not that important to learn.

    Once again, I am loving this, my heartiest congratulations on what's been achieved so far and I look forward to playing for a long time to come :)

    Traits of the same kind don't stack and you can only hold three attachments at the same time. Newer ones push off the older ones in a 'first in, first out' sequence, so sometimes it might be useful to draw and 'apply' two traits if it knocks off an bad attachment, for example.

    You can set a toggle in the options to show cards on screen until you click on them. This can be modified to halt on new cards only.

  3. Hi,
    Thanks - I'll change the card settings and see how we go.
    I can accept what happens with the trait holding mechanic, but I don't have to like it!

    thanks again
