I am having some first world problems now that I am rank 1. I have no reason to keep playing ranked MP because I will just risk losing my ranking. This is the wrong sort of incentive for me, and also not very fun for other players who basically have to match the same crazy win streak to get to the top. My proposal is that every player above 1500 that has not played a MP game in the past two weeks will have 10 rating points transferred to cardotron daily. I think things like this have been proposed in the past, but figured I would use my newly acquire rank as platform since the change would theoretically hurt me most.
I've always thought this would be a good thing to implement. Now that being good at pvp can give out tangible rewards via the guild seasons, I think there's even more reason to have the ELO leaderboard represent only the top active players.
