What happens when you've collected all the items, beaten all enemies, farmed all the advs, played all builds, triumphed all leagues and read every forum posts ? You rot in the dungeons... nah, joking. From yours truly, another insane idea born from 'we have quick draw, why not make use of the interface and do smthg more with it ?' syndrome. erm, actually its just texas hold em in Card Hunter style. So in the example above, I've got a full house and you win/lose gold. And its all pvp, yay! Same 10 winning conditions: royal flush, straight flush, four of a kind, full house, flush, straight, 3 of a kind, 2 pairs, 1 pair, high hand. We don't have the 4 and 13 but we do have 7 qualities, 3 rarities, 9 card types, 3 atk types etc. So a royal flush (on quality and card type) could be smthg like the below. Yeah, well...not a serious idea but I think it would be nice to squeeze maximum use out of the card drafting engine. Quick draw is nice but maybe this might be great too. =)
You need to balance the suits better (meaning: don't use "Attack" as a suit). Also, I don't think you're allowed to get Emerald cards in QD anymore.
Well, it wasn't a serious suggestion. Alto I think it wouldn't be too difficult to make a reasonable pack of cards for casual play, perhaps not with account gold tho. Just as farbs can switch out cards, he can also switch them back in. The first step would be to actually assign the 8 card types (exclude hybrids), rank them and pick 1 card to represent each quality. That would make 56 cards which is kinda close to the usual 52. edit0: thinking deeper, perhaps don't account for rarities, atk types, dam types... the visuals aren't terribly obvious on smaller screens... edit1: and perhaps have house rules since the %s are gonna be quite different with 8/7 than 4/13. Shrugs...
