This scenario has festered in the back of my mind for a while now and the more I play through the campaign (or repeatedly play through the campaign) the more it starts to bug me. Why am I incapable of determining where my characters start out on the map? For the sake of argument, let's assume that I just want this change to come to Single Player. With only one or two exceptions in the entire game, the enemies are always going to start in the same position, and your characters are always going to start in the same squares (the exception being the Gladatorial Arena Qualifiers and I believe the Return to Woodholme), so why can't I at the very least determine a 'marching order' of some kind, or at the very least, have the order in which my characters are on the character roster determine where they'll fall on the board? I realize that this is a minor grievance, but it really starts to become important in things like the 1HP challenges or maps in which enemies immediately start within striking/zapping range of you (such as Slub Gut's Sanctum). The arena matches make this even more confusing, such as Cardstock II, a (presumably) controlled match where my wizard will inexplicably decide to take the square closest to the Dwarf Warrior. Now, I realize that this could be a rather titanic undertaking and having control over your character's starting positions could lead to imbalance, but I still think it's a good idea to have some form of control over this, even if it's simply establishing a marching order from your character roster screen.
