I don't know if anyone else has posted this idea before - apologies if anyone has.

OK. So, in quickdraw, you take it in turns to build up your deck for each character by choosing from cards of the same quality. What about a league where you build up decks by choosing items instead?

What I mean by this is instead of three cards appearing, three items appear for each slot and you pick one of them. This would happen for each slot until all the slots are filled with items for all the characters. For example, for a warrier, the first three sets of three items to appear would be the three weapons for the weapon slots, if that makes sense.

Both players would have the same race/class combination, which would be randomly picked before the match.

In quickdraw, the cards are grouped together by quality. It would probably make the most sense to group items by rarity. Major and minor power tokens and item rarity would be randomly assigned to different item slots before the match (the same combinations for both players, probably) which would affect which possible items appear to pick from. For example, picking a weapon for a warrior - let's say this weapon slot has been assigned two major power tokens and the rarity 'Epic' - three possible items that could appear to pick from are Cat'Leth, Nova Axe and Pressing Problems.

One thing: I'm not sure how the items would appear to the players. Perhaps the item images on special blank cards with the list of cards they have in the description, able to be hovered over to read their effect? I know this would require a lot of work in terms of coding, but I don't know how else it could be done.

    Thoughts?

Appeared before, improbable due to the UI work, I'm against this one. Also, it makes card variance so much greater that I'd rather not.
