[Suggestion] limited player choice in SP map start placement.

Here's what I'd like to see added to a whole lot of SP maps:
Give me the three locations where my characters have to start out, but allow me to chose who goes on each starting tile (except in the case of scripted ambush encounters).

I don't know how many times I've gotten most of the way through a difficult quest, and started the final map in a claustrophobic room full of enemies with my idiot wizard bravely leading the charge. :)
I get that sometimes we need to start separated, or sometimes we were "caught off guard", or whatever, but when I'm storming an enemy stronghold I'm never going to enjoy spending the first two turns recovering from my wizard being out in front, my slowest character the furthest away from a victory point, my melee-only character the furthest away from the enemies, or whatever. It can sometimes ruin a dungeon run with randomness ten times worse than card draw randomness ever could.

If you want to eliminate a little bit of randomness from the game because it's been a cause for enough complaints, you can start by giving me a tiny bit of agency over who starts standing where, unless scripted otherwise.

    Could be usefull.

As long as it would be optional or there is easy and fast way to get random placement. Would hate to do it every time on every map.

Yep. It would even spoil some maps.
Where appropriate, I envision a quick choice: "Chose starting locations? Y/N"
then you just plunk your party down one at a time on the three tile options, doing the typical left-to-right party order.
Tactics games that let me do this always start me off feeling good, since sometimes I can spend quite a few enjoyable moments just pondering the optimal placement.
Naturally, in things like MP duels this might be completely uncalled for, but I don't really know how it would be received.
