    Monstrous Transformation
Oh no! You warned your fellow dungeon adventurer not to touch that enchanted treasure but greed got the best of them. No sooner had they touched the loot then they transformed into an enormous monster. Not only that, the transformation is total; body, soul, and mind. The monster, formerly known as your friend, is now your enemy. The beast turns its gaze on your party of two and lets out a guttural blood curling howl before advancing on you to tear you limb from limb.

Inspired by Stexe's Monster Hunt, there would be two separated boards going simultaneously. This would be a modified constructed league wherein one of your characters would randomly be transformed* into a monster: dragon, ent, troll, demon, etc. Your monster would face off on one board against two of the opponents constructed characters. On the other board your two remaining characters would face off against the opponent's monster.

This League would emphasize constructing utilitarian characters since it would randomly be determined which character would transform into a monster. The monster selection could also be random or limited to dragons only. This League would also allow players to get behind the controls of a big beasty which would be something new for Cardhuntrians.

This would take a lot of work to implement. First of all, we currently don't allow PCs and monsters on the same team.

You can control monsters in the Mauve Manticore modules, including a Hell Mantis in MM2.

It WOULD be cool if you could use 1-2 monster groups and player-created characters at the same time.

Or, this league could work if there was some way for a player to pick from a "draft" of the pre-made MP characters to use. Assuming you can't pick any "MP AI ___2000".
