Currently, you cannot "like" your own posts on the forums. I think this is a grave oversight on the part of the forum admin(s). One of the best things on Facebook is following smug, self-satisfied types and watching them like their own postings and comments; I miss this experience when browsing the Card Hunter forums so much that the absence distracts me. If anyone reading this doubts that this would prove a large part of the forum metagame, I can point out a few examples of users who would avail themselves of this extended functionality—I won't unless prompted, because calling people out is generally frowned upon, but I think we all know who I'm talking about—and the good news is, they're not the only ones who would benefit! Imagine all the head-shaking, all the quiet chuckling that the rest of us* could enjoy while beholding the glory of someone else's self-appreciation. *I may or may not actually be in the broader category of people.
