I assume that ranked matches are supposed to be somewhat fair in the map selection. Streams of blood is as far as I know, the only symmetrical map. Symmetrical maps tend to be better at having the players start at an equal footing. However, there is one starting location different on one side than on the other. While the top-left player has a starting location behind the bushes (at top right location), the bottom-right player has the starting location in front of the bushes (at center of left location). This means that one member will start exposed to two or three enemy characters and disconnected from his/her allies. This starts one player in an immediately vulnerable position and is really something that should be changed.
