Title says it all. Enemy wizards casting bursts and linear attacks can target impassable terrain, yet it isn't shown when you hover over them. You can argue that you should notice anyway, but especially when it comes to bursts i do just a quick check - I reckon many do - making sure the square i move to has no adjacent squares that are green - part of the burst wizards sight. VISUAL AID for those who cant comprehend words:
I'm not sure I get your suggestion actually. Wgat excactly could be highlighted? But I have a similar suggestion of my own: have a combination (shift + mouse click?) to show YOUR character's LoS from that square. When playing illusory terrain, it only shows what opps would see from there but I want to check where to put my own mage(s) too.
Yes, the edited picture made it clear. (And for the record: I couldn't understand "it all" from the title, but the text description makes sense.) So in this case, would you want to see a different sort of color over the Impassable terrain? After all, though the information is certainly useful for understanding attacks, it is also useful for basic movement--wouldn't want to make a change that annoys people in an opposite way. And Lord Feleran: is it really the opponent? So if you have Illusory terrain out, the visual stops at your wall? Or is it an "uninvolved third party," ignoring everything?
You can see through your own wall of course but Ctrl + right clicking shows opps' LoS from that square... Edit: KK, mb uninvolved 3rd party. Haven't tested what would happen if BOTH of us had that terrain. Edit2: Yeah, I support Robauke's idea too. A different colour would do, too.
Bumping this, i feel it still is a tweak worth looking into. Especially relevant on convoluted maps paired with burst (wicked waterways being the prime example)
