Just some ideas to give the elves some stronger trait cards. Nimble Elf Racial Trait Duration: 3 Effect: Add 1 to your rolls for all block and parry cards. The hope is to give them some form of durability that is distinct from the Dwarf toughness. A +1 wouldn't make the biggest change but the fact that it lasts three turns would give ample opportunity for it to be effective. Evasive Elf Racial Trait Duration: 2 Effect: If you take damage equal to half your maximum health or more, you may immediately Free Move 2. Going with the central theme of mobility that the elves are built around, this one gives them a quick response to run away. Combine this with some step attacks, spears, and dodge, and your elf can run circles around its enemies.
Nimble: When you say "block and parry cards" do you mean Blocks in general or literally cards with "block" or "parry" in their name? I think this is a poor choice for racial skill since A: all it does is increase your luck and B: since you have to have blocks in your deck in order for it to be useful. Mostly A. Evasive: It's interesting, but it requires attacks that do at least 9-13 damage to trigger. And since it is a trait, your opponent will see it. I think you should rename it blood-screen. Because instead of being 'evasive' your elf is taking a critical hit and spraying blood everywhere as they run away. I would like to see an elf racial trait that is essentially Dodge, but with Free Move 1. Maybe it would only trigger on attacks that would deal 8+ damage.

Mostly A.I meant to apply to any block type card. So that would include all the block cards (Unreliable, Desperate, Absorb, etc) as well as any other effects that block (Counterspell, Dodge, Jump Back, etc). And while it would require you to have block cards in your deck, its no different than martial classes requiring the right attack card to take advantage of a trait. The fact that it lasts three rounds gives you a large window of time draw block cards since most decks will have three-ish blocks in their deck.
First, Free Move 1 Could mean something, if you had Rushing Aura or Energizing Move applied. What I meant to say was ... basically Slide 1, or the effect that Encumbers are ignored. You can have as few as 2 block cards or as many as 15, even wizards can have 6-8 or more. I still think that it is a weak card trait that is little more than a card cycler. Also, Dodge and Jump Back are Not block cards. They are Boost/Move hybrids, and definitely not block cards at all.
