I would like the option on each characters paper doll screen to have some sort of sorting and filter options for their deck. The list of cards under the gear is just a mess of cards, it would be nice to be able to, for example, put all moves together, all attacks together, armor, block, etc.

    Just a thought!

That doesn't make sense to me in that the group of move / attack / blocks cards are allocated to items. Seeing all of your move cards together gives you what, exactly?

I like being able to count how many attack, block and armor cards I am playing. Sorting cards by type makes it easier and also gives you a better idea of what the deck might lack at first sight.

But there are a lot of hybrid cards to confuse things. What order would you list the types?

    Handicap
    Handicap/Attack
    Attack
    Move/Attack
    Move
    Armor/Move
    Armor
    Armor/Attack
    things-that-aren't-actually-blocks-but-react-like-them
    Block
    Block/Move
    Trait

I left out the boosts because I think they all fit in one of the above categories, but I'm probably still missing some combinations.

^This. When I used to play Magic and was deck-building, I would sort potential cards into categories. Reaction cards, creatures, offensive spells, land, etc. Even within categories creatures could be sorted between low and high mana cost. Having the ability to examine the deck in categories and weigh those categories against each other could help build more efficient decks.

Like say I notice my warrior has a tendancy to draw more move cards than he usually needs. Sure I could just swap his boots to one with less moves and hope that helps, or I could sort by type, notice that maybe he has a lot of attack/moves and not really that many moves and that is why it appears he has more moves than he needs, because he doesnt need them, or that he has other pieces that add move cards that are unnecessary (assuming we could hover over the cards and see what piece they are attached to.)

Of course the way pieces tend to hold certain types of cards can limit how much we can really change the card distribution, but there is still quite a bit of variety and this would allow more informed decision making when changing gear without having to count and write down each card and type.

Anything would be better than the nothing we have now :p The order you wrote looks fine, or perhaps the opposite order. Filters to only show certain types would help with the large number of card types.

Another idea would be to let us drag the card around in the deck box to sort them ourselves.

Seeing that you have 10 move cards does not give you anything other than you can see you have 10 move cards. You would still need to bounce back into the Item Screen to see what you'd do to change that.

You can see what cards you have equipped per character under their stats sheet, though not in order. Seeing a lot of blue in your deck will still give you the "I have too many move cards" feeling, I think.

I would want to sort them on the deck window we currently have, no bouncing to another screen would be necessary to actually change things, it would update right there in real time.
This would require some improvement to the deck window, being able to hover over cards to see the full card for example, and showing the cards on the highlighted piece when hovering over a card, not only when hovering over the piece.

My main point is that deck construction could be more efficient. It is highly intuitive which is great, but it lacks the tools necessary to do the fine tuning that can really help a deck sing. The game is hard enough that I think it warrants such features.
