Every time I look at Purging Burst I think it effects terrain, it seems that it would be more appropriate to have an image that was a variation of Purge instead of looking so close to Cleansing Burst. Just a thought.
Yeah, so much this - unless it targets a square rather than a person, for the burst removal of character attachments? I haven't tested it, but I've had the same complaint. In case of a square target, maybe have a character in the artwork would make it more obvious, otherwise a Purge+ effect would be best.
It strike me too when i first see it. It's a good change, like the arcane attack color being changed to uniformly purple before. If not I'm sure we'll get used to the artwork by then.
I concur, the artwork can be confusing. For what it's worth, Purging Burst does target a specific square and affects the 8 adjacent squares.
