Hi, i have been playing the game now from the first adventure to the last, which was quite fun some times and some times realy frustrating. But i realized that from the beginning sometimes it was quite hard to understand the game mechanics or some cards, even when it was explained by Gary. Basicly you get flooded by cards and items and so sometimes its really hard to have some kind of overview. E.g. it took almost until the end of the game until i understood how Parry works and that is almost essential in fighting the dragon with a warrior e.g. And there are other cards like Bad Medicine or Horned Plates where it is not so obvious what they do. So maybe you could add a point on the map which you call Wizzard Tower or Library. And there you find all the knowledge and cards you already discoverd. E.g. Armor: Once you take damage you roll a dice and if you succeed the armor prevents the damage by a number. Keep: If you use a card with keep you don't have to discard it. But that only applies to the trait it is connected to. E.g. Horned Plates: If you use it as Armor you have to discard it, if you use it as Frenzy you can keep it. In my opinion this would make playing for beginner a little bit more easy. You could even add monsters to the library which would also help you to realize what items or cards you need in order to beat a certain adventure once you get stuck.
A few builds back they added a rules page which is available from the "help" on the menu - press esc while in the game. Also, having a bestiarium would be awesome - but I don't think that's anything that's coming anytime soon due to the dev workload. However, there are some of them up on the game's wiki (see my signature and scroll to the bottom on the wiki), and I really should be getting back to adding more.
Well thats basicly what i had in mind. Just add some more descriptions or give one example for Frenzy, Block, Parry etc. and make it accessible from the map and it would be fine. And about the bestiarium, it would be a fine addition. You don't have to reveal their whole deck, but maybe give some hints. E.g. once you discover skeletons you get a new entry which states that they tend to have pure bones or so in their deck which makes slashing and piercing weapons quite useless so a good club could come in handy.
