Indeed, the many times that it's been suggested have always met with great favour. We await the Devs verdict on if/when.
I too would like to see this. What I do currently is keep an excel spreadsheet of my 'regular' equipment and have rows for alternate sets such as lower level sets and for specific encounters and just fill in the spaces that changed from the regular setup. This could even be a club member feature since it doesn't affect gameplay directly but would be a nice perk.
I was about to start a new thread suggesting this all over again, when I thought to use that Search thingy up there in the corner. I want this SO BAD. Being able to save a party's setup -- even if it's just one setup, and you have to save the entire party at once -- would be insanely useful. I'm at the Tomes of Tvericus or whatever his name is right now, and failing miserably. Having to swap out all of my slashing and piercing attacks for the second all-skeleton round and then put them back again for the third round is just murdering my playtime. Being able to push the "Default Equip" button and have all of my standard crap show up where it belongs would be miraculously good.
